The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Dysartale contained the following places:

"DYSARTALE, a parish, in the barony of DELVIN, county of WESTMEATH, and province of LEINSTER, 2 miles (S. W.) from Castletown-Delvin; containing 2 inhabitants. It comprises 80 plantation acres only, and is a rectory, in the diocese of Meath, forming part of the union of Kilcumney, or Drumcree: the tithes amount to £3. 6. 8."
