The townland of Dysart (in Rathconnell civil parish) includes the "site of Dysart Taly", to the northeast of Dysart House. The only reference we have found to this being a separate parish is in the National Gazetteer 1868:
"DYSARTALE, a parish, in the barony of DELVIN, county of WESTMEATH, and province of LEINSTER, 2 miles (S. W.) from Castletown-Delvin; containing 2 inhabitants. It comprises 80 plantation acres only, and is a rectory, in the diocese of Meath, forming part of the union of Kilcumney, or Drumcree: the tithes amount to £3. 6. 8."
