The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Drinagh contained the following places:

"DRINAGH, a parish in the barony of Forth, in the county of Wexford, province of Leinster, Ireland, 2 miles S.E. of Wexford, its post town. It is situated on the S. side of Wexford Harbour, and on the road to St. Margaret's. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ferns, value with St. Patrick's, Wexford, £493, in the patronage of the bishop. The ruins of the church and burial-ground are yet remaining. The seats of the locality are Summerseat, Hermitage, and Rowesmont. Limestone is plentiful near the coast."
