The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Kilcomb contained the following places:

"KILCOMB, a parish in the barony of Scarawalsh, county Wexford, province of Leinster, Ireland. Camolin is its post town. The parish is near 4 miles long and 2 broad. It is situated on the banks of the river Bann. The surface consists of good land, and is traversed by the road from Gorey to Ferns. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ferns, value with Tomb, £526, in the patronage of the bishop. Here is a Roman Catholic chapel united to that of Ferns, likewise two day schools in the parish. The demesne of Camden is within the limits of this parish."
