The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of St Peters contained the following places:

"ST. PETER'S, a parish in the barony of Forth, county Wexford, province of Leinster, Ireland. It contains part of the town of Wexford. This parish is 3 miles long by 1½ mile broad. The soil is mostly good. The road from Wexford to Fethard passes through the parish. It is an impropriate curacy in the diocese of Ferns. See Wexford.
