In 1868, the parish of Liscolman contained the following places:

"LISCOLMAN, a parish in the barony of Shillelagh, county Wicklow, province of Leinster, Ireland, 9 miles N.W. of Carnew. Tullow is its post town. The parish is 2½ miles long by 1½ mile broad. It is situated along the E. bank of the little stream Dereen. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Leighlin, value with Aghold, £452, in the patronage of the bishop. Liscolman House and Rath House are the principal residences in this neighbourhood."
