Old Parish Church, Cockenzie, Church of Scotland

The village had been part of the parish of Tranent, until the early 1830s when it was established as a parish in it's own right, with the parish church being built around that time.

In the 1843 disruption, the parish church was initially used by the Free Church congregation, before they moved to School Lane.
