Church History

Rutherglen Old Parish Church has been at the heart of the life of the Royal Burgh of Rutherglen for over 1400 years. A living church with many active organisations it welcomes visitors from near and far including those who have an association with Rutherglen. The Old Parish is separated from Rutherglen Town Hall only by the graveyard and is located at the corner of Rutherglen Main Street and Queen Street. The postcode is G73 1JP.
