The cemetery has/had a graveyard.

It was founded in 1897.

Edinburgh Council indicate that there are internment records available from 1897 - 1990, and 1994 onwards.

The CWGC site notes that there are 227 WW1 graves, and a further 76 WW2 graves, in Comely Bank.
