Independent Church

Shown on the 1849 OS Map as an "Independent Chapel, seats for 1000", and on Woods 1831 map. Ainslie (1804) describes it as "South Tabernacle".

Presumably the building was demolished with the creation of Chambers Street in 1870, however, destination of the congregation is not currently known.
