At the 1843 disruption, the minister, and most of the congregation, transferred to the Free Church, moving by 1844 to a new church in Greenside.
The building was then acquired by the North British Railway, and demolished. The small congregation then purchased Roxburgh Place Chapel in 1856.
Demolished when Waverley station extended. Shown on 1849 OS maps as "Leith Wynd Chapel (Ruins of)".
Part of demolished building incorporated into new building on Jeffrey Street. (TBC)
