Church History

The church was built in 1890, initially known as South Morningside Free Church. The architect was Sir Robert Rowand Anderson, who was also responsible for the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, the McEwan Hall (Edinburgh University's graduation hall), Glasgow's Central Station, and Mount Stewart on Bute.

In 1974, the congregation merged with the neighbouring Morningside Parish Church, at which point, the church was converted into a suite of halls and meeting rooms.
