The county of Perth had four detached parts, viz.: (a.) The parishes of Culross and Tulliallan, adjoining the counties of Fife and Kinross; (b.) Part of the parish of Kippen, surrounded by the county of Stirling; and (c.) and (d.)Two detached parts of the parish of Caputh, each surrounded by the county of Forfar. It contained two detached parts of other counties, viz., part of the county of Forfar, consisting of a detached part of the parish of Kettins, and part of the county of Stirling, consisting of part of the parish of Logie. There were twelve parishes situated partly in the county of Perth and partly in other counties, viz., Abernethy, Alloa, Alyth, Arngask, Caputh, Coupar Angus, Forgandenny, Fossoway & Tulliebole, Kippen, Lecropt, Liff, Benvie & Invergowrie, and Logie. It was also found necessary to deal with the parish of Fowlis-Easter, which is for certain purposes united to the Forfarshire parish of Lundie.
