Kintail Parish Church was built by Alexander Messer in 1856. It is a tall white harled box with roundheaded windows and a Romanesque bellcote. The interior has been altered over time but the west gallery front panel still has Romanesque blind arcading. This church is one of very few (Ceres Parish Church, Fife, is the only known other) that still has a long communion table, made by the folding down of the pews. It seems likely that it may be removed shortly.
