The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Egremont contained the following places:
"EGREMONT, a parish in the hundred of Derllys, county Carmarthen, 4 miles N. W. of Narberth. It is situated on the river Cleddan. Stone quarries are worked in this neighbourhood. The living is a donative curacy in the diocese of St. David's, value £51."
