In 1868, the parish of Gyffylliog contained the following places:

"GYFFYLLIOG, a parish in the hundred of Ruthin, county Denbigh, 5 miles W. of Ruthin. It includes the townships of Ffrithoed, Trefor, and Trepark, with the hamlet of Bont-Uchel. The living is a perpetual curacy annexed to Llanymys.

"BONT-UCHEL, a hamlet in the township of Trepark, and parish of Gyffylliog, hundred of Ruthin, in the county of Denbigh, North Wales, 5 miles to the W. of Ruthin."

"FFRITHOED, a township in the parish of Gyffylliog, county Denbigh, 5 miles W. of Ruthin."

"TREFOR, a township in the parish of Gyffylliog, county Denbigh, 5 miles W. of Ruthin."

"TREPARK, a township in the parish of Gyffylliog, county Denbigh, 5 miles W. of Ruthin. It includes Bont-Uchil."
