In 1868, the parish of Wenvoe contained the following places:
"WENVOE, a parish in the hundred of Dinas Powis, county Glamorgan, 5 miles S.W. of Cardiff. Here is Wenvoe Castle, the seat of the Jenner family, with a front 374 feet long."
