The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Bayvil contained the following places:

"BAYVIL, a parish in the hundred of Kemess, in the county of Pembroke, South Wales, 3 miles to the E. of Newport. It is situated near the coast on the banks of the river Nevern. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of St. David's, of the value with the curacy of Moylegrove, which is annexed to it, of £224, and in the patronage of the lord chancellor. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew."
