The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Begelly contained the following places:
"BEGELLY, a parish in the hundred of Narberth, in the county of Pembroke, South Wales, 5 miles to the S. of Narberth. It is pleasantly situated near the coast, and includes the chapelry of Williamston. Many of the inhabitants are employed in the coal-mines of the neighbourhood. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of St. David's, of the value with the perpetual curacy of Williamston annexed to it, of 216, in the patronage of Lord Mitford. The church is of the Early English style. Begelly Hall is the principal residence."
"WILLIAMSTON, a chapelry in the parish of Begelly, county Pembroke, 3 miles N. W. of Tenby."
