There is some conjecture whether the burial ground south of the village was used by Babell Chapel, see open street map
- The entry for this church on the National Monuments Record of Wales (NMRW) website (Coflein).
- According to the plaque on the front of the chapel, "BABELL M.C. / ADEILADWYD1795 / AILAIDEILADWYD 1822 A 1891" (built 1795, rebuilt 1822 and 1891).
