The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Jeffreyston contained the following places:

"JEFFREYSTON, a parish in the hundred of Narberth, county Pembroke, 5 miles S.W. of Narberth, its post town. The village, which is considerable, is situated near Cresswell Quay. Tho inhabitants are principally employed in the coal and culm trade. Cressellay is the principal residence. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of St. David's, value £134, in the patronage of the chapter. The church is dedicated to SS. Joffry and Oswald."

"CRESWELL QUAY, a village in the in the parish of Jeffreyston, county of Pembroke, 4 miles N.E. of Pembroke. It is situated on Milford Haven."
