"Mae y capel hwn yn mhlwyf Llanbedr-y-felffre, ac 'o fewn ychydig gyda dwy filldir o dref Narberth. Adeiladwyd ef ar dir a roddwyd i'r perwyl gan Mr. David Morgan, Cilrhew, yr hwn yn nghyd a'i blant sydd wedi bod yn noddwyr selog a haelionus i'r achos. Un bychan yw y capel, ond y mae yn ddigon mawr i ateb i boblogaeth yr ardal. Mae ysgoldy cyfleus yn ei ymyl, lle y cedwir ysgol ddyddiol. Yr ymddiriedolwyr yn y weithred ydynt : - Daniel Morgan, James Davies, Henry James, David Morgan, John Morgan, Daniel Harries, W. Nicholas, Theophilus Morgan, John Morgan, a W. Davies. Canghen o Carfan yw yr eglwys hon, a gweinidogion Carfan sydd wedi bod yn gofalu am dani o'r dechreu hyd yn awr.

Er nad oes yma eglwys a chynnulleidfa luosog, nid ydym yn gwybod am un eglwys fwy siriol, haelionus, a gweithgar mewn unrhyw barth o Cymru. Yr ydym yn hyderu y disgyna deubarth ysbryd y bobl sydd yma yn bresenol ar eu holynwyr o oes i oes. Mae pobl Brynseion, gyda bod yn ddynion bywiog, haelionus, a gweithgar gyda chrefydd, yn Ymneillduwyr dianwadal, ac nid yw bygythion na gwenau boneddigion ac offeiriaid y gymydogaeth yn siglo dim arnynt."

Translation by Maureen Saycell (Jan 2008)

"This chapel is in the parish of Lampeter-Velfrey, and just over two miles from the town of Narberth. It was built on a piece of land donated for that purpose by Mr Daniel Morgan, Cilrhew, who along with his children have been faithful and generous sponsors to the cause. The Chapel is a small one, but is large enough in proportion to the population of the neighbourhood. There is a convenient school nearby, where a day school is held. The trustees of the deeds are:- Daniel Morgan, James Davies, Henry James, David Morgan, John Morgan, Daniel Harries, W. Nicholas, Theophilus Morgan, John Morgan, and W. Davies. This church is a branch of Carfan, and it is the ministers of Carfan that have taken care of it from the beginning.

Although there is not a large congregation, we do not know of any church that is more cheerful, generous and industrious in any part of Wales. We hope that just half of the spirit of those who are here now will follow down the generations. The people of Brynseion, being  lively, generous and industrious with religion, are unmovable non-conformists, and neither the threats or smiles of the gentry or the vicars of the neighbourhood can shake them."
