The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Loveston contained the following places:

"LOVESTON, a parish in the hundred of Narberth, county Pembroke, 5 miles S.E. of Narberth, its post town. It is a small agricultural place. There are several mines of anthracite coal. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St. David's, value £113. The church is a small ancient edifice."
