The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Maenclochog contained the following places:

"MAENCLOCHOG, a parish in the hundred of Kemess, county Pembroke, 9 miles N.W. of Narberth. Haverfordwest is its post town. It is situated at the foot of the mountain Precelly, and includes the hamlet of Voilan. Slate is obtained here. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of St. David's, value £70. The church is dedicated to St. Mary. There was a logan stone here. Fairs are held on the 10th March, 22nd May, and 5th August, for the sale of live stock."

"VORLAN, a hamlet in the parish of Maenclochog, hundred of Kemess, county Pembroke, 8 miles N.W. of Narberth."
