The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Manorowen contained the following places:

"MANOROWEN, a parish in the hundred of Dewisland, county Pembroke, 1 mile W. of Fishguard, its post town. The parish, which is of small extent, is situated on the bay. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of St. David's, value £86, in the patronage of Subchanter and Vicars-Choral of St. David's. The church is dedicated to St. Mary. Manorowen House, situated near the old seat of Lewis, the antiquary, is the principal residence."
