The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of St Florence contained the following places:

"ST. FLORENCE, a parish in the hundred of Castlemartin, county Pembroke, 5 miles E. of Pembroke. Tenby is its post town. It is situated in a picturesque locality, in the vicinity of the river Tenby. The living is a vicarage* and sinecure rectory in the diocese of St. David's, the first of the value of £94, and the latter of £177, in the patronage of St. John's College, Cambridge. The church is a cruciform structure, dedicated to St. Florence.
