Estate Duty Office Will of Mary Farrant of Holcombe

in the parish of Hemyock, Widow (1850)

Mary Farrant Will 1850 - died 11th February 1850  - proved 28th February 1850

 

Be it Remembered that this is the last Will and Testament of me, Mary Farrant of Holcombe in the parish of Hemyock in the county of Devon Widow, made the eleventh day of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty seven as follows. 

First I give unto my daughter Sarah six silver tea spoons marked R.F. and also I give unto my daughter Sarah two silver table spoons and my best bed. 

Second I give unto my daughter Ann six silver tea spoons and also I give unto my daughter Ann two silver table spoons. 

Third I give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my Real and personal estate goods Chattels and effects of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever situate lying and being and over which I have any power of disposal subject nevertheless to the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses unto my two daughters Mary and Ann their Executors Administrators and Assignees share and share alike as Tenants in Common. 

And I do nominate constitute and appoint my said two daughters Mary and Ann joint Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament. 

And lastly I hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time hereto before made and do rectify and confirm this to be my last.

In Witness whereof I Mary Farrant the Testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand the day and year first above written

Signed by the said Mary Farrant the Testatrix as her last Will and Testament in the presence of us being present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other subscribe our names as Witnesses

Proved 28th February 1850 in the Principal Registry of the Lord Bishop of Exeter by Mary Bennett (formerly Mary Farrant) and Ann Farrant the Executrices. Testatrix died 11th February 1850
