Church History

It was founded in 1890.

Huyton United Reformed Church formerly Congregational church, stands at the corner of Seel Road and Victoria Road, this is the fourth building to house the congregation. Built in 1890, it replaced the previous purpose built place of worship in Hey Road which was built in 1856 (see Park Hall).

In 1972 the Congregational church joined with the English Presbyterian church to become the United Reformed Church.
