National Gazetteer (1868) - Baltonsborough

"BALTONSBOROUGH, a parish in the hundred of Glaston-Twelve-Hides, in the county of Somerset, 4 miles to the S.E. of Glastonbury. Bath is its post town. It is watered by the river Brue. The living is a perpetual curacy attached to the vicarage of Butleigh, in the diocese of Bath and Wells. The church is dedicated to St. Dunstan."

"HAM STREET, a hamlet in the parish of Baltonsborough, hundred of Glaston-Twelve-Hides, county Somerset, 4 miles S.E. of Glastonbury."

"SOUTHWOOD, a hamlet in the parish of Baltonsborough, county Somerset, 5 miles W. of Castle Carey."
