QUEENHILL, Worcestershire

"QUEENHILL, a chapelry in the parish of Ripple, lower division of the hundred of Pershore, county Worcester, 2½ miles S.E. of Upton, its post town, and 4 N.W. of Tewkesbury. The village, which is of small extent, is situated on the river Severn. The chapelry includes the hamlet of Holdfast. The living is a curacy annexed to the rectory* of Ripple, in the diocese of Worcester. The church has a tower containing 4 bells."
