In memory of YARBURGH YARBURGH esqre,
who, after a painful
illness borne with peaceful
calmness and resignation,
and a full trust
in the merits of his Saviour,
died January 26th 1856,
aged 70 years.
His remains are interred
in Bridlington Church,
by the side of his father
and her who so tenderly
supplied the place
of mother to him from
his early infancy,
JOHN and ANN ELIZABETH GREAME.
This tribute of affection,
to her beloved brother,
is erected in the
church which he founded,
and which forms a
fitting monument of his
earnest and unceasing desire
for the welfare of those around him,
by his only sister,
ALICIA MARIA, wife of
GEORGE LLOYD esqre.,
of Stockton Hall, in this county.
'The memory of the just is blessed.'
Prov. X. VII.

Yarburgh Yarburgh, born Yarburgh Greame, 1785 - 1856, lived at Sewerby Hall.
