The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Killadoon contained the following places:

"KILLADOON, a parish in the barony of North Salt, county Kildare, province of Leinster, Ireland, 2 miles S.S.W. of Celbridge, its post town. The parish is 2 miles long by 1 mile broad. It extends along the left bank of the river Liffey. The soil is good. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Dublin, value with Kildrought, £439, in the patronage of the crown. Killadoon House is the demesne of the Earl of Leitrim."
