The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Lullymore contained the following places:

"LULLYMORE, a parish in the barony of East Offaly, county Kildare, province of Leinster, Ireland, 4 miles N.N.E. of Rathangan. Edenderry is its post town. It is 2½ miles long by 2 broad. The surface consists of a considerable proportion of bog, the remainder being generally good soil. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Kildare, value with Kilmaogue, £344, in the patronage of the bishop. Lullymore Lodge is the seat of the Murphy family, who are the proprietors of the district.
