In 1868, the parish of Staholmog contained the following places:"STAHOLMOG, a parish in the barony of Lower Kells, county Meath, province of Leinster, Ireland, 4 miles S.W. of Nobber. Soil good, with some bog. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Meath, and in the patronage of the crown.
