The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Erry contained the following places:

"ERRY, a parish in the barony of Middlethird, county Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 3 miles N.E. of Cashel. It is situated on the road from Cashel to Thurles, and within a brief distance of the river Suir. The living is a suspended rectory in the diocese of Cashel. Here is a private school. The seats are Erryville and Grangemore."
