The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Ballyvalloo contained the following places:"BALLYVALLOO, a parish in the barony of Ballaghkeen, in the county of Wexford, province of Leinster, Ireland, 7 miles to the N.E. of Wexford. It lies on the sea-coast. The living is a perpetual curacy annexed to the vicarage of Ardcolme, in the diocese of Ossory, Ferns, and Leighlin."
