"ASHPERTON, a parish in the hundred of RADLOW, county of HEREFORD, 5 miles (N. W. by W.) from Ledbury, containing 398 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Stretton- Grandsome, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford. The church is dedicated to St. Bartholomew.
