Will of Richard Page Breyley, Devon (Ashbury)

This is the Last and only Will and Testament of me Richard Page Breyley of Scobchester Farm, in the parish of Ashbury in the said County of Devon. I give, devise and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Flora Bathews, Thirty Pounds. I give, devise and bequeath unto my daughter Ellen Voaden, Fifty Pounds. And as to all the rest of my personal estate that I may die possessed of or entitled to whether in possession or reversion remainder or expectancy. I give, devise and bequeath unto my two daughters and two sons namely Beatrice Elizabeth Breyley, Edith Emma Breyley, Walter Breyley and Richard Breyley not as joint tenants but as tenants in common share and share alike. I nominate, constitute and appoint Henry Pellew of the parish of Northlew, Executor of this my Will. I declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness where of I the said Richard Page Breyley have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this 2nd day of May in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seven.

Witnesses: Henry Pellew and Emma Breyley of Northlew

On the Twenty Seventh day of November 1909, Probate of this Will was granted at Exeter to Henry Pellew, the sole Executor.


BE IT KNOWN that Richard Page Breyley of Scobchester Farm in the parish of Ashbury in the County of Devon, Farmer who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at Scobchester Farm, within the District of the County of Devon died on the Fifth Day of October 1909 at Scobchester Farm aforesaid.
AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date hereunder written the last Will and Testament of the said deceased was proved and registered in the District Probate Registry of His Majesty's High Court of Justice at Exeter and that administration of all estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Henry Pellew of Northlew, in the County of Devon. Assistant Overseer, the sole Executor named in the said Will.
