Will of Mary Westlake, Spinster of Totnes

The last Will and Testament of me Mary Westlake of Totnes in the County of Devon Spinster made published and declared in manner and form following that is to say I request that all my just Debts and funeral expences may be paid as soon as conveniently after my death by my Executrix hereinafter named I give and bequeath unto my Brother Thomas Westlake of the Parish of Saint Mary Church in the said County the Sum of fifty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain which he borrowed of me sometime since upon his note of hand now in my possession and in addition to the said Sum of fifty pounds I give and bequeath unto the said Thomas Westlake the further Sum of Twenty Pounds of like lawful money to be paid him by my Executrix hereinafter named immediately after my decease and it is my Will and desire that the said Note of hand be given up to the said Thomas Westlake to be cancelled by my said Executrix all the rest residue and remainder of my Goods and Chattels rights and Credits ready money Personal and testamentary Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto my Sister Sarah Westlake now living with Mrs Pearse at Bradninch near Exeter in the County aforesaid and I appoint the said Sarah Westlake sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Testimony whereof I the said Mary Westlake have hereunto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty three Mary Westlake
