“BELCHAMP (WALTER), a parish in the hundred of HINCKFORD, county of ESSEX, 3 miles (W.) from Sudbury, containing 608 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, consolidated with that of Buhner, in the archdeaconry of Middlesex, and diocese of London, rated in the king's books at £6, and endowed with £100 and £6 per annum private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty.
