| I recognised the photo as a building near where I use to park. I transcribed the 1851 Ecclesiastical Census for the National Archives and found a United Presbyterian Church on Infirmary Street. This building is actually on Infirmary Street which is now cut in two by a dual Carriageway. Alamy has photos of the building as the Former URC Church Sime Street which is the street sign on the side of the church. . I therefore think it is this Church. Former United Presbyterian Church Infirmary Street, Westgate Bradford. This became URC when the two denominations merged. [Ian Shaw] |
