There are four pieces of ground to consider associated with St Mary's Crosserlough:
- The ‘old cemetery’ is situated in the townland of Crosserlough.
- The 'new cemetery' is in the townland of Cullow, adjacent to the present Church. On this site the church seen on the first edition OSi maps (1837-1842) as 'RC Chapel' burned in 1880.
- The present site of the church is seen on the last edition edition OSi maps (1888-1913) as St Mary's Church.
- During the 1930s the 'new cemetery" was extended into an area of ground between the former and current primary schools, with the first burial taking place in these plots in 1936.
