The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Kilsillagh contained the following places:

"KILSILLAGH, a parish in the barony of Ibane, county Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 7 miles E.S.E. of Clonakilty, its post town. It is half a mile in length, and the same in breadth. The parish lies between the bays of Clonakilty and Courtmacsherry. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ross, value with Lislee, £500, in the patronage of the bishop."
