The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Pollardstown contained the following places:

"POLLARDSTOWN, a parish in the barony of East Offaly, county Kildare, province of Leinster, Ireland, 2 miles W. of Newbridge. Kildare is its post town. It is about 1½ mile in length, and a little less in breadth. The soil is of medium quality. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Kildare, value with Thomastown, £167. There is a day-school, but no church."
