In 1868, the parish of Trubley contained the following places:

"TRUBLEY, a parish in the barony of Lower Deece, county Meath, province of Leinster, Ireland, 3 miles E.N.E. of Trim. The surface consists of a good soil, and is traversed by the river Boyne. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Meath, joined to Trim. Here are the ruins of Cassock Castle, the halting place of Cromwell after the attack on Drogheda.
