In 1868, the parish of Redcity contained the following places:"REDCITY, (or Demelloge), a parish in the barony of Middlethird, county Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 1 mile S.W. of Fethard, its post town. The living is a suspended rectory in the diocese of Cashel, in the patronage of the bishop.
