In 1868, the parish of Llandefeilog contained the following places:

"LLANDEFEILOG, (or Llandyveilog), a parish in the hundred of Kidwelly, county Carmarthen, 5 miles S. of Carmarthen, its post town. It is situated E. of the river Towy, and includes the hamlets of Cilmarch, Cloggin, and others. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of St. David's, value £64, in the patronage of the Prebendary of Warthacwm. The charities amount to about £4 per annum.

"CILMARCH, a hamlet in the parish of Llandefeilog, in the county of Carmarthen, 4 miles N. of Kidwelly, on the river Towy."

"CLOYGIN, a hamlet in the parish of Llandefeilog, in the county of Carmarthen, 3 miles N. of Kidwelty. Here are the ruins of a chapel."

"CYDPLWYDD, a hamlet in the parish of Llandefeilog, in the county of Carmarthen, 2 miles N. of Kidwelty."

"IDDOLE, a hamlet in the parish of Llandefeilog, county Carmarthen, 4 miles S. of Carmarthen. It is situated on the river Towy."

"ISHCOED, (or Iscoed), a hamlet in the parish of Llandefeilog, county Carmarthen, 5 miles S. of Carmarthen. It is situated near the Towey and the Roman road Via Julia.

"MOLFRE, a hamlet in the parish of Llandefeilog, county Carmarthen, 4 miles N. of Kidwelly."

"YSGNBOR FAWR, a hamlet in the parish of Llandefeilog, county Carmarthen, 4 miles N. of Kidwelly."
