Will of Margaret Farrant Westown Hemyock 1842


This is the last Will and Testament of me Margaret Farrant of Westown in the parish of Hemyock Devonshire spinster which I make this ninth day of February one thousand eight hundred and forty two as well in exercise of any power of appointment given to or vested in me as otherwise for the disposal of all the property over which I have any control.


And I give and devise the same and every part hereto subject to my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences unto Edith Farrant my sister whom I appoint my executrix requesting that she will at her death divide what may then remain of my property equally between and among the following twelve persons or such of them as may then be living namely; Mary the only child of my sister Mary, the seven children of my brother John, and Ann Fry Sarah Bennett Jane Fry and Richard Fry (four of the children of my Sister Sarah Fry)


And I give and devise all Mortgaged and trust estates which may be vested in me unto and to the use of my said sister Edith her heirs executors administrators and assignees upon the equities and trusts affecting the same.

 
In witness whereof I have to this my Will set my hand the day and year first above written


Signed by the said Margaret Farrant the Testatrix as and to be her Will and Testament in the presence of us being present together at the same time and we have at her request and in her presence subscribed our names as witnesses hereto
