Holne Churchwardens Rates - 1757

A rate made the 11th day of July 1757 By Luke Pearse and John   
Fford churchwardens Alexander Luscombe and William Collings   
overseers of the poor by and with the assent of two of His   
Majestys Justices of the Peace of the County of Devon both of   
the Quorom for the relief of the poor of the parish of Holne   
according to the statudes in that care made and provided and we   
humbly desire to be allowed to collect six fold.£sd
