A rate made this 24 September, 1771, by Richard Stranger and   
Andrew Wright churchwardens and John Worth and Richard Wicket   
overseers of the poor of the parish of Holne By and with the assent of   
two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace of the county of Devon both   
of the Quorom for the relief of the poor of the parish of Holne according   
to the statudes in that care made and provided to collect four fould.£sd
